We believe that dance is magical because it is so much more than just dance. It fosters creativity to encourage development of the overall person and is just plain fun!
We bring with us years of experience, a top notch staff and a stellar reputation. Hearts in Motion has been named best dance studio for families through Grand Rapids Kids for the last two years, is a licensed More Than Just Great Dancing Studio, is Youth Protection Advocates in Dance certified, and is committed to bringing an amazing dance experience to your child!
HMD Boutique is a satellite location of our original Hearts in Motion Studio, but will focus on small, personalized group dance lessons for dancers ages 8 & under as well as semi-private and private lessons for all ages. Class sizes are limited, music and costuming is family friendly, and our curriculum and approach to teaching is both age and developmentally appropriate.
Hearts in Motion has been a part of the Grand Rapids community since 2010 and has now expanded to Ada Village.

Our studio is a certified safer studio, which means we have undergone and continue to undergo health and safety trainings, have made curricular adjustments and have created a Covid-19 best practices and action plan that has been approved by the health department. We are also YPAD certified which means that all of our staff members have completed training regarding safe dance practices in regards to social, emotional, and physical wellness. Our teachers are all First Aid/CPR certified and background checked.
